In a close fought match in the last game of the Leggat Cup League, Team Billy faced Team James R with the winner avoiding the relegation zone. Team Billy were out of the trap quickly and had a 5-1 lead after 4 ends. But a four for team James R put them back level, although not for long as Team Billy countered with a four at the next. In the last end Team James R were lying four shots to win but Billy kept a cool head to chap and lie with his last stone and win the match.
