After the pairs final a packed field of competitiors tried to draw nearest the button for the pound. With the competing pairs finalists having one shot and the rest allowed a warm up, Colin set the target to beat with his stone in the eight foot. James H then threw a shot which would require a stone to be biting the button to beat.
Brian’s stone looked good as it travelled towards the head, but on the keen ice slipped through too far. Andy C was up next and again looked like a winner but pulled up just short.
