In the last match of the season the two teams at the top of the Salver league battled it out for the title.
Both teams playing well made for a close match with Team Ferrie taking more ends. At the last end Ferrie lay shot with only one stone to be played by Carswell. He elected the take out and played it pefectly to take the match and the Salver.
Speaking afterwards losing skip Billy Ferrie said “There was possible 5 shot score for me in the penultimate end last night but it ended up a single. So be it. It was a good match and James had to remove my last stone to win.”
Congratulations to winners JR Carswell (skip), Colin Melrose, Robert Stables and Ewen Cameron.
