The curling season resumed for the New Year with the Que Sera Bonspiel. After four ends team Peace (Andy R, James H, Brian) were 5 shots up on team Band (Robert, Margaret S, Alan), but leading on 6 shots up were team Smiley (Billy, Sheila, Tom, Rhona) against team Suicide (Colin, Margaret W, Andy C). Team Peace continued in the same manner in the second game against team Band ending up 12 shots up, but not enough for team Smiley who won the Bonspiel with a score of 14 shots up overall.
