After finishing bottom of the pile in the league section of the Kirktonfield Cup, Team James H stormed their semi final against Team Brian taking the first four ends against the head to lead 8-0. With his last stone at the fifth end Brian elected a take out to leave him lying a possible three, but, after only scoring one, shook hands meaning Team James H secured their place in the final. They will meet the winner of the other semi final to be played on Monday.
