Que Sera Trophy

In the first game the pool of Billy, James H and Margaret played James R, Nancy and Rhona with the former coming out on top. The other two pools playing were Andy R, Colin, Ewen and Tom against Alan S, Andy C, Barbara and Robert St with the former taking a one shot lead into the second game. Despite adding a further two shots from a win in their second game, they were unable to beat the winning pool of Bill, James H and Margaret with a score of seven shots up.

 

Doubles all round

Monday 3 February sees the start of the doubles competition. This is a recent addition to the club schedule so brush up your knowledge with the Scottish Curling Rules, and a video guide. Team Heron win Kirktonfield Cup

The team of Brian Heron, Sheila Smith, Robert Humphrey and Nancy Cameron have won the knockout competition after beating Team Connie in the final by 7 shots to 6.

Finalists Decided

After two semi finals which came down to the last stone in each case, the final of the Broadlie Cup pairs competition will be between James R & Georgie and Sheila & Colin. This takes place on Monday Feb 10 at 20.30. Immediately after will be the draw the shot competition Johnny's Pound, and all members are invited to participate.

Jack Barr Salver

Two teams from each club took to the ice on Saturday 11 January for the local derby with Barrhead Fereneze. A comprehensive win for the teams of James H, Brian,Colin and Margaret, and Andy R, Rhona, David and Barbara ensured the trophy remained with Neilston.
